Petter is a European Patent Attorney at Bergenstråhle & Partners.
Petter has over 10 years’ experience from the patent field, working as a patent examiner for more than four years before he became a patent attorney in 2010. Petter passed the EQE successfully in 2012 and became a European patent attorney.
He focuses on IP matters such as patent drafting and prosecution, novelty searches, freedom-to-operate analyses and strategic counseling on IP matters. Petter mainly works in the fields of mechanics, electronics and mechatronics, but is specialized in various fields of engineering, with a special interest in medtech and cleantech. His experience from the patent industry within those fields along with his M. Sc. in Engineering Physics from KTH makes it evident that Petter has a lot of expertise and experience in those areas.

Petter started his career in the patent field in 2006 where he worked as a patent examiner at the European Patent Office (EPO). He worked there until 2010, when he instead became a patent attorney as well as a European patent attorney (2012) at a Swedish patent consultancy firm. Petter joined Bergenstråhle & Partners as a European patent attorney in 2015.
